Why Volunteer With Alger Matters?
Alger Matters is entirely run by a small (very small) group of volunteers — people just like you who care about this community and want to make a difference. There’s no minimum commitment, no special skills required. Just a willingness to help.
Whether you have a few hours a month or want to take on a bigger role, there’s a place for you. You’ll meet amazing people, learn new things, and directly impact the lives of your neighbors.
We especially need volunteers at our two upcoming events. The TLC Farm and Garden Walk on July 19 needs someone to sit at each location, “punch” tickets and offer lemonade. Time slots are 9:30-1:30 and 1:30-5:30. If interested, email us at: contact@algermatters.org
Our Barn Dance on September 20 can’t happen without volunteers! We’ll need help setting up, during the event for the kids’ tent, beverage stand, dessert auction, and then packing up afterward. Watch this space for more detailed opportunities as we get a bit closer to the date.
